Service Delivery

The PHI (Protected Health Information ) and PII (Personally Identifiable Information ) collected is used solely for the purpose of delivering our text messaging service, communicating with patients or customers regarding their inquiries, requested information, or durable medical equipment-related notifications, as permitted by the TMRPA (Texas Medical Records Privacy Act) , HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and other relevant laws.

No Sharing or Selling of PHI and PII

A&P Quality Care Medical will not share, sell, or convey any protected health information or personally identifiable information, including text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes, unless required by law or with the explicit consent of the patient or customer.

Data Security

A&P Quality Care Medical employ industry-standard security measures to protect the PHI and PII through our text messaging service, in compliance with the TMRPA, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations. However, no data transmission over the internet or electronic storage method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Opt-Out

Our patients and customers can opt-out of our text messaging service at any time by following the instructions provided in the messages or by contacting us directly. Once a patient or customer opts-out, we will promptly remove their PHI and PII from our database, as required by law.

No Sharing or Selling of Personal Information for Marketing Purposes

A&P Quality Care Medical will not share or sell end users’ personal information to third parties for the purpose of marketing. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our patients and customers and will only use the collected information for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.

A&P Quality Care Medical Care reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time to ensure compliance with the TMRPA, HIPAA, and other applicable laws. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on our website. Continued use of our text messaging service after the changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
